Mark said “The schooling Galapagos sharks are pretty much at this spot every day in the Summer and Fall.” Mark also mentioned that the day he took this incredible shot was a slow day and he usually sees twice as many sharks there! During certain times of the year Galapagos shark will school up and segregate by sex. Mark claims that he has never used any chum or fish to attract the sharks and he said that “the sharks just hang out there!”
